Spring 2008 Schedule

Canine University offers classes for all levels, abilities and interests. All courses are taught using operant conditioning through the use of a clicker and treats.

Beginners classes are geared for the new dog in the family and are perfect for both the novice owner as well as those looking to establish an enduring relationship with a new dog.

Advanced classes build upon concepts learned in our Beginners classes; we also offer a multitude of courses and workshops for polishing skills and learning new and fun activities for you and your dog.

Adult Beginners
(for dogs 18 weeks to adult and/or over 35 lbs at the start of class)

Our classes use positive motivational methods and Clicker Training, and are geared toward teaching the owner how to train their dog. If you are unsure of the methods we use and their effectiveness, contact us to observe a group class Before enrolling. Proof of vaccinations* and full payment should be submitted with the registration form in order to reserve a place for your dog.

Pre-requisite: Dogs must be not be people or dog aggressive in order to attend classes. Owners of dogs who are not friendly with other dogs or people are invited to attend without their dog ('audit') for a reduced fee.

  75 Minute Workshop: $60.00
2 Hour Workshop: $70.00
1/2 Day Workshop or Seminar: $110.00
4 week class: $110.00
6 week class: $150.00
